International Day of Happiness

What do you know? March 20th is now World Happiness Day!! Can't believe it. Lots of chatter on the radio about happiness and how to be happy etc. some of it absolute rubbish drivel. Heard it all while I was having my hair done...

Then, driving back from Silicon Oasis (where G & I went to deliver some gin to the friends we met yesterday), we noticed Happiness Street mentioned on the road signs! The D86 is now Happiness Street. True story. You can read it here. And in other news, Emirates Post have issued special stamps to mark the day.

G wanted to get to a Hallmark store so we went to Wafi, which is where my blip is from. Hallmark were all geared into International Happiness Day. They had a few items on display, and I have to apologise for the very poor quality of these images, as I was trying to surreptitiously get shots on my phone before any of the shop assistants came and told me off! I'd love to say more about the magazine cover title, but I could be deported.

So... personal opinions about the day aside, apart from a good image blip and possibly a short journal(!), what makes YOU happy? :D
