Portius Tower

Portius Tower in Krosno was built in the middle of XVII century. It was funded by Robert Gilbert Portius Lanxeth who arrived here from Scotland. He was a wealthy tradsman and a very colourful character who settled here, in Poland. The tower has the largest bell in Poland, diameter of 490 cm. This a view from narrow street across the square.
