Birthday Flowers

I got home last evening and left again today to go visit some friends in Hayling Island on the south coast. So Dolly remained at the dog sitters. The house is always a bit empty without her.

Before I left I threw away most of the flowers I'd been given for my birthday over a week ago. These I kept as they still had almost another few days life left in them. In front of them are the beautiful Dala horses that were a birthday gift from our friends in Sweden. My grandmother was Swedish and she had one of these and so I'm thrilled to have one of my very own! (And the small one was for Dolly!)

It was a busy day with lots of driving and lots of talking - and no other decent pictures taken!
