Timeless

This is my mother photographed by Rattan at his studio in the late 50s. I love this image of her. It's going to be in my book. She looks so serene, though by nature I know my mother to be curious, fiery and energetic. The photographer liked how he captured my mother's beauty so much that he had this photo on display in the window of his shop.
