Buddhist Street Theatre
The sun shone on our event today, and about 50-70 people showed up to sing together, to grieve over liberty chained, to cut the chains and leave flowers at the Wall of Welcome. Kayse Jama, a Muslim from Somalia, was our main speaker, and I was touched by one of the things he said: "I did not choose to come to the USA, but there are some beautiful, kind people here." Sue and I took photographs. A closer view of the crowd is in the extra, along with one of Sue's photos, a last glance at the wall with its flowers, signs, and candles.
