A bit wiser!!

I found out that this is a pie slice, but despite of loan of these books from a neighbour I haven't been able to translate the hallmarks!!!

The local parish magazine in today answered the question "what is this". It is Echium, grown for its oil and used in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry.

The cross stich picture has been collected for framing.

After I blipped yesterday, I collected series of pictures of this fluffy little soul. He wasn't bothered by my presence and kept nodding off in unsuitable places
