The Fallas

Tonight, at midnight, in Valencia and in many towns in the Valencian region, such as Xàtiva and Benidorm .....these colourful, beautiful paper maché structures ...the Fallas.....will be burned.....
The children's Fallas are usually burned at about 11pm....but the 'grown up' Falla will be burned at midnight
The burning marks the end of the Fiesta........
and very soon work will begin to create the Fallas for 2018!
