Almost
We did get out of the house for a while today - had to go to the building society with whom we are remortgaging to get some papers signed, but the majority of the day was spent on the sofa watching the final 3 games of the men's 6 Nations rugby tournament.
First off, Scotland beat Italy ( hurrah ).
The second game, one that I didn't think I'd get particularly excited over, between France and Wales, turned out to be a nail biter in the last 20 mins. Those 20 mins were all in extra time! France won, but it was all a bit controversial.
Finally England were on, up against an Irish team that were there to prove a point - that they aren't done for just because one of their key players retired last year. They haven't played too well until now but played a great game against an England team that were definitely having a bad day.
England still won the tournament, but Ireland took away their chance at a successive Grand Slam title, and the record for the number of straight wins in a row.
The saddest thing though, is the difference between the ladies magnificent win and that of the men - no TV coverage, no fireworks. Hopefully this will change soon.
