Seeing off the Intruders

Our resident Mute Swan pair have already chased off the last two of their offspring from last year, and they like having the pond to themselves. So when two early morning interlopers arrived, they have been chased off within 2 minutes, the pair leaving the nest they were setting up, and floating in a threatening fashion to the opposite side. 

Nice to get out before the drizzle set in, and managed to get a gap in the traffic to start raised bed rebuilding too. Oh, and made macaroons. Not a bad day, but weekend already going too quickly...
