Busy day

This morning we went to the park on our way to the shops.  CyclopsJnr fell in with two much bigger boys who inspired him to experiment with new skills.  These are the lowest ropes of a tall climbing structure, which up until now CyclopsJnr has failed to make any progress on.  Today he managed to get a few feet off the ground then shake the whole structure, much to the delight of the bigger boys.

He also managed a pretty decent go on a proper swing (one without an enclosed seat), which was new.

This afternoon we we went swimming.  We had to leave after 75 mins when they called our wristband colour, and he was really annoyed about having to go.  I told him "the man says we have to go Arran" (since a man had made the tannoy announcement).  He got straight out of the pool, went up to the nearest male lifeguard, and said "I not go out now thank please" hopefully! 

He'd already scared the living daylights out of the lifeguard when I thought he was going on a slide but he decided to go and jump in the big pool instead.  I knew he would be fine (he had his armbands on) and indeed he was.  The lifeguard moved at a fair speed to check on him though...

I wonder if we'll be allowed back...
