Blossom

This cherry blossom is in my front garden, with pink magnolia blossom behind it. It's beautiful and the first sight I see when I pull my curtains in the morning. The trees are actually in my neighbour's garden but we get all the benefit (and none of the work). My neighbour told me last week that the magnolia is over 50 years old, bought for them by her brother when he first visited the UK from South Africa. She asked if I minded that they blossomed over our garden. Who would mind seeing that every day?
