Thimble Gone!

We used to play a lot of games in my family as a child and Monopoly was one of them.  And I always loved the thimble!  But alas, the thimble is no more.  Thrown out with the boot and wheelbarrow for a dinosaur, a penguin, and a rubber duck.  Oh well.  I actually used a thimble this morning (hence the blip) while sewing the bow on my slippers so that it wouldn't come undone.  Couldn't get the needle through without it. My guess is that most millennials would have no idea what a thimble is. Or why you would sew.
