Racing the clouds home (Day 675)

It was chilly on the morning wander up the hill this morning, and the wind was returning. In the distance large dark clouds looked to be bringing rain. The rain arrived shortly after I got home, a lucky escape.
I pottered around at home as  my beautiful wife went to do horse stuff, and after lunch we drove out to Evie in torrential rain to walk the dogs. Our timing was perfect and the sun came out as we walked along the shore, watching showers sweep all around us. A big lump of really bad weather was heading our way as we turned back to the car and we were lucky to reach shelter just before the heavens opened. The opportunity for another dramatic sky was too much to resist. Today's extra is just because the colours were so fabulous today.
