Rooftops

Quite a tough day. Returned home and seeing the devastation was not any easier.

Met the insurance company and of course there were obstacles as there always are - probably we will be thousands of euros out of pocket due to 'act of god' but soon at least we can get cracking with new windows as looking at the black and molten mess is hard even for a positive thinker!

Thankfully tonight we're having a lovely evening with friends, on their roof terrace in a small town inland. They are real foodies so we're eating well - that always makes me happy!
