Sparrow hawk (female)

I didn't see her catch the pigeon, but I did see a lot of plucking and eating. She was in the garden for over an hour.  The pigeon was almost as big as herself - she moved it a few yards within the garden, but left the remains behind when she went away (I missed the departure).
