Bicycles

A good day at the British Trust for Ornithology regional conference in York. The results from a survey of upland farmland birds in which we participated last year were discussed. It was reassuring to hear that it had been found to be a challenging survey for others, not just us, and for the same reasons.
I was struck by the row upon row of bicycles at the station.
