Revisited

I went on what has become an annual pilgrimage today to the Watts cemetery to photograph the beautiful Scilla that grow there in wild abandon between the rich terracotta gravestones.
Every year I visit, I struggle to capture some of what I can see in my heart as I wander round this amazing place, the rich blue line of the scilla either side of the cobbled pathway, spilling onto it finesse, the cobbled pathway itself that climbs steeply up Budburrow hill, a straight line calling the eye up past the gravestones to the chapel and the cloister, I could spend hours just soaking up the beauty of this place.
I have chosen this shot, as it shows how the scilla spill onto the cobbled path which leads the eye ever upwards..... I had grest fun taking it, lying prone on the rough path. it was worth it though!
I have added a shot of the 'sea' of scilla in my extras and another shot of them mingling through the gravestones - pure joy!
