Chalet in the woods

This is our new pied a terre in France.
We have spent the last three days sorting out things out and have done quite a lot of tidying up in the garden. I never want to see another mimosa plant!
It is pretty at this time of year, but is rather invasive with running roots and it springs up everywhere.
Sometime this summer the outside will need a paint (the blue is going) and the decking needs treating.
There was a big storm in February with (180km/h winds apparently) and when we arrived on Monday the aftermath was evident. Large branches of pine tree were everywhere. Today's extra shows before and after a tidy up.
It has been sunny and 21 degrees C. I suspect the same won't be true when we return home this weekend.
