Changed weather

After a week of glorious sunshine which quickly melted the snow, we woke to cloud and rain.

If people want to get around in Avoriaz, where there are no cars, and if they don't want to walk or ski they have the option of taking a horsdrawn cart. I t.ook this with my phone as we walked over the the car park on the outskirts of the village to catch the minibus to Morzine where we got a big bus to Geneva airport.

We got back to Newcastle at 4 pm. There was an armed (big guns) police presence at the airport which I'd not seen here before. We called on #3 daughter to pick up our car, and had supper with them all. Ella is not keen on doing her reading books so her mum has made a treasure hunt. She has to read the clues to find the next clue, till eventually she gets a little treat. Nathaniel gets out his treasure hunt map and pretends to read.

Home now, washing on, a lazy day tomorrow.
