Will you walk with me out on the wire

What a great day we had.

Tooli was playing Volleyball in Edinburgh Today; and then watching the Rugby with her mates, and then meeting us tomorrow afternoon.

Since this is probably the last match she'll get to play, and we'll see before she heads off for Foreign Climbs again.... we suggested that rather than lug three different bags with her on the train; we would take her over watch the volley and then drop her at Rugby Pub, removing all excess baggage.

What a match!! - See Extra.  Set About for 5 sets.  And the Won!  Which has probably saved them from being demoted.  It was  a great game, if a little stressful!

She showered, and while she showered, I checked on SickBoy In USA.  he is feeling a little better, but not better enough to go out Drinking for St Pats Day - He always gets free beer, because the Yanks think he is Irish.  (one Celtic accent is much the same as another).

We dropped her in the Cowgate, and promised not to shout lovely things at her when she walked past, but of course we did.

We missed the Farmers Market, so we headed to the Bridges to have a look at the new one.... Oh, Wow. It's very, very lovely.

And we decided while we were there to revisit some places which were oh so familiar to us.  We drove through Rosyth Dock Yard - a lot of which is open now, and private Enterprises.   I could see where I had disembarked from the bus for the family visit with Her Maj.   We drove past the gate, where we kissed goodbye when he was leaving for 7 months.

We parked the car beside the Spar, where I used to park, and watch Himself marching up and down the parade ground, and wait for him to finish a watch when he was shore based.

We drove through Rosyth, and remembered so many times, the Pizza Shop - the Coop; - the Strip Club and howled with laughter when we saw the Phone Box with a Squeaky door was STILL there.

We headed to Dunfermline and skirted around it, and laughed at the times we had spent there, and the trouble we had gotten in to.

And then we headed home - over the Kincardine Bridge, and I spotted the Kelpies in the Distance.  And was quite chuffed with myself, cause I didn't have my glasses on.

And then we got home.

And then we did shopping.

And then I checked in on Boy again.

And then... Tooli phoned, squealing at us that we hadn't told her that we were home safe.

Lovely day
