Drove home from Kings Mills - where I'd celebrated my birthday - into torrential rain - wind - and low temperatures - stopped at Buxton with the intention of having a break there - big waterproof coats were to hand

Discovered the parking charge was £4 - got straight back in car - blipped us leaving the car park

Thank you for the birthday wishes - it was a happy one - just a shame it rained on my parade today - but that's life
