Spring browsing...

On a very unlike-Spring day of grey skies and gusty winds, I was browsing through some old family albums and came across this photo that my dad took of my mum, shortly after they were married. They rented two rooms and this was the extent of the kitchen! Apparently you could do amazing things with this tiny Baby Belling, though when my mum tried to bake a fruit cake in it, the cake came out as hard as brick and you couldn't even get a knife into it!

Browsing through old photos makes you realise how much times, and people, have changed... And kitchens!!
