Catherny Hill

Took a day trip out to the Pentlands today and managed to climb the second highest hill (according to this site)) of them today. Pretty impressive I thought since done with a 10, 7 and 6 year old. Here's the youngest at the sumit, with Scald Law in the background.

Went to the Fireworks at Inverleith Park later and we were a little underwhelmed - too tired to enjoy them I think... And next year, think we'll try for Princess Street Gardens or Calton Hill - you just don't get the full impact of them at Inverleith.

Update... Just looked at an OS map, think that maybe Catherny Hill in the background - so we just made it up Turnhouse hill - still not bad with the kids in tow. And there was no way we'd have got them up that next one!
