A happy, happy day

Our kind, loving eldest son has met a generous, hardworking and thoughtful girl from the Netherlands and we are proud to welcome her into our family.

On what has been the only wet and misty day for the last week, they tied the knot at the Upper Hall in St Andrews University-the service being taken by my dear old friend the Rev G P. T's friend Rory played the pipes, my friend Elaine and I sang and little Miss M was the most adorable flower girl ever! C and their baby boy, E wore kilts and friends and relatives arrived from Holland, the USA, Australia and New Zealand to help us celebrate. The image of our handsome sons standing at the altar is a sight that I will not forget in a hurry.

T and the lovely L did a fantastic first dance which included T leapfrogging over her. Great fun was had by all, especially the Dutch relatives who enjoyed a typical Scottish wedding.
