Food Glorious Food
Our youngest grand daughter likes anything, as long as she can eat it! I've never known a child like her and I thought that Mckenzie had a good appetite. Baby-led weaning seems to be the modern way of doing things and she is thriving on it.
It was good to finally see the grandchildren this afternoon. I hadn't seen them for well over a month, as I'd been with my mum and then when I got back from Scotland, they were all getting over chicken pox.
Update on my mum, for those that have asked :) ...today was the 14th and final day of pills from the second chemo session. There are many side effects, including a severe reaction to touching or eating/drinking anything cold, so she has to put on thick gloves to go into the fridge. The sickness is the biggest problem but she is managing it with a combination of arrowroot biscuits, ginger and dry toast. The anti sickness pills were causing uncontrollable eye twitching, so she stopped taking them, as apparently the twitching can be permanent. The third session should be on the 24th, depending on the blood test results which will be done the day before.
