Flower Friday

Just thought I'd add to the already powerful line up of beautiful flower images submitted for the challenge today.  This little beaut, craning and unfurling it's petals, is a primrose that belongs to the spring container I received from my Mom a week ago.

I realize again how much colour matters.  To me yellow is the colour of sunshine.  It is the brightest colour that the human eye can see.  It can evoke joy, happiness, hope, energy, positivity, freshness, clarity to name a few.  On this yet another grey day, I need me some yellow.
