No visible means of support?

This Cymbidium Orchid produced a pathetic looking shoot in January and we suspected another leaf would appear. How wrong we were as the shoot kept on growing and now the flower spike is well over 3 feet long with 18 blooms. so long in fact it is secured to the curtain track with fine, but strong cord. The extra provides more detail of the flower.
