HAPPY FARMER

Part of the Ebor Way Walk today crossed Howthorpe Farm . . . and we were relieved to be made most welcome by Farmer Chris and one very friendly farm dog. He is a grand chap . . . as you may tell from this image. He is even going to mend the broken waymark sign down in Hollin Hill Plantation.
Extra today shows the variety of signs we encountered . . . sadly too many broken. Apparently cheap wooden posts is the main reason.
