Forbidden city

With a flight out from Beijing early tomorrow, three of us have moved to Beijnig for the day and did the pretty standard tourist trip of the Forbidden City. Tedious to have to queue for an hour to use an underpass but the City itself always impresses.
A quick visit to the Silk Market to fine hone my bartering skills and then off to a hugely Westernised restaurant/bar for the evening. 
In fact without the Forbidden City one could, disappointingly,  almost have been in any city in the world.
