Touch of autumn
Another glorious day and my friend joined me for a super long walk along the river and we didn't need fleeces at all. She is going to be looking after Bruce for me while I am away and is recently back from a cruise of the Baltic Cities so we had a lot to chat about.
The river is very full after all the recent rain but everywhere was looking lush and green except for the horse chestnut tree you can see in the shot just above Cara. It is always the first tree along here to show its autumn colours and was looking very pretty in the sunlight. Cara as usual was debating whether to jump in or not. The water was flowing quite fast at this point and she wisely deferred.
