Happy New Year!

Personally I don't see the attraction of Hogmanay and New Year's Day, to me it is just another night and day.
People go on about 'reflecting' about the last year and looking 'forward' to the next. What has happened has happened, and what is going to happen will happen for a reason. I believe that your life is mapped out for you and you can do nothing about it, of course you make choices and decisions throughout your life but the outcomes happen for a reason and they are what make you the person you are today.
So..the year ahead is just a path to which is already made for you.
