Hooded duck

Today the sun came out and it warmed up to above zero, the wind was still strong and made it feel colder. At this time of year the lake is a stop over of migrating birds. Today there was a pair of hooded ducks , this one is the male and the female is pictured as my extra shot. They likely will be around the lake for a couple of days and be on there way again.

Sorry I have been behind on my comments I have been troubleshooting problems with computers causing the tv recorders to stop working, which now looks like an issue with a windows update. Hopefully they will fix the problem soon
