First day of term

Credit where credit is due.

We were treated to an upbeat, positive, clear assessment of our position and the results we have gained.

Lovely to see all my colleagues again but little (no) time to shoot the breeze and ask about summer activities.

Have downloaded my class lists.

Start afresh, treat them all equally, have high expectations.

Cycled to work and then cycled home again.

There was something close to magical about cycling back down Whiteladies Road in the afternoon sunshine feeling free as a bird.

Honestly, it was that pleasant.

It's always lovely weather the day we go back to school.

Caught up in this mild form of hysteria I almost forgot to blip, but hey! this lampshade at my parents' house (temporary very pleasant abode) has a very nice form.
