Girls night out
We haven't seen each other in ages, but tonight we got together at St Peters Church in Notting Hill for a talk by Alexandra Shulman.
Alexandra is the longest serving editor in chief of British Vogue and is basically our era.
A delightfully down to earth woman, she talked about her new book to the Notting Hill audience with a Q&A afterwards.
We were up on the balcony (as you will see from my inset) so asking questions wasn't very practical. Instead we went up to her afterwards asking if there were any particular images she most liked her her years of tenure.
After some thought she agreed that only looking back after a period of time could she become objective enough to choose.
We loved the recent exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery 100 years of Vogue. It has become a social document as much as a fashion bible.
