line of silk

quieter day today after a hectic weekend. the sun eventually came out and with it the bees and hover flies. as often happens got quite a few good ones, but as I was passing the high back wall at the back of the house I saw this delicate grass growing out of the top, joined by some very thin lines of spider silk. not sure if that is the correct term but I like it.

One of the reject bees is in my folio here - maybe but I can never seem to get the folio to stay on the one I want so maybe not!
