Hartington Hall

Stayed in Bonnie Prince Charlie's room at Hartington Hall YHA for three nights. The room had dark wood panelling and old fire place purporting to be where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed overnight on his journey south.

We took the bikes due to being close to the Tissington Trail which is a cycle track following a disused railway track. Fortunately the hostel had a bike store to keep the bikes safe during our stay.

The sun was shining as we arrived so we were hopeful of a good few days in the Peak District.
