Kelpies

I don't live that far away from these magnificent beasties, but this is the first time I've actually seen them with my own peepers. The weather was of the ice cream headache variety so we didn't spend much time outside but there's a nice cafe right there, so we admired it from a warmer viewpoint. It's quite a shock when you realise just how big they are. Bigger than the sphinx, bigger than the angel of the north.

They're a testament to what can truly be done if you put your mind to it imo. I'll go back and try work in that space some more when the weather improves.
