Narcissus pseudonarcissus (possibly)

Narcissus is a genus of predominantly spring perennialplantsin the Amarylllidacae family. Various common names including daffadowndilly, narcissus and jonquil are used to describe all or some members of the genus.

Well all that might be true but they are just lovely. They brighten up a dull day and add the finishing touch to a sunny spring day.

I doubt that we would appreciate them as much if they flowered all year round in this country. But all too soon they are gone and when one gets to a certain age you wonder if you will see the following springs display.
