Okay, Focus

My Dear Fellow,

Feeling quite blurry, but again thought it was worth doing my blip entry under authentic circumstances and not waiting.

So tonight we are on #2 of my 3 nights out this week. I was quite tired, but re-energised once I entered the Barony bar. It really is a terrific pub and everyone is so friendly. I ordered an expensive MacAllan because what the heck.

Afterward, Mad Dog and I went to see "Kong: Skull Island". Essentially, we are looking for another "Congo" which is just the best bad film ever to the point where I think it stops being bad accidentally and starts being awesome on purpose. "Skull Island" does not measure up by comparison, although it does have a number of fun scenes and feels a bit like the Ray Harryhausen film you've never seen before.

But there is no sesame cake, nor California Dreamin'. So it was never going to compare favourably.

As for me, this is not looking good for night #3 of the week of nights out. I am tired and squiffy. Must try to pull it together for one last night.
