Sneaky Jasper Fforde

I still do not have the unashamed attitude of the seasoned blipper and had to snap this surreptitiously, hence the sneaky. I can't really comment on the sneakiness of Jasper himself. He seems like a thoroughly nice chap though.

Jasper Fforde is a regular treat at the Edinburgh Book Festival. I do love his books and he was here this year to promote the latest book in the Thursday Next series - The Woman Who Died A Lot. I haven't read it yet but after his talk I'm champing at the bit to get my sticky mitts on a copy.

Jasper also wrote a rather wonderful book called Shades of Grey, which apparently is being mistaken for that other thing people are raving about. I haven't read the other one but I think I can categorically state this Shades of Grey is vastly better.
