The end

Cycled to and from hell today. The ride was a little misty on the way in and a little busy on the way home. On balance the rides were both fine, but work or hell as I know think of it was as dire as ever.

Today I received my final payslip, next month I will have been formally sold to the lowest bidder and be working for an outsourcer. After years of loyal service I've been cast aside to be replaced by people with zero loyalty to the company or knowledge of how the company works. Apparently this is progress.

I'm now rather looking forward to finally being made redundant and seeing what the future brings. Previously I would have been depressed but now I'm optimistic about whatever will happen.
