Morelia
Morelia's main plaza is dominated by the Cathedral, a twin-spired church visible from almost anywhere in town. By decree, no building can stand taller than the 219 feet of the main spire and the ones around the plaza are no more than four stories. This obviously makes the church easy to see, but not so easy to photograph. Even though this was one of the few trips to Morelia that didn't find us visiting the inside of the church, plenty of other groups did. This one was exiting as we walked by on our morning constitutional, provided just the right amount of scale for the doors and gate.
