A dreaded sunny day

Mill Rd Cemetery was bathed in sunshine this afternoon. It has been cleared a little bit but still retains a lovely air of dereliction. So there were graves I had never seen before, birds tweeting, people making films, men sleeping on benches. It was marvellous, and a real tonic.

It's a great place to walk, so I went inside and I gravely read the stones
All those people all those lives,  Where are they now?
With the loves and hates, and passions just like mine
They were born and then they lived and then they died
Seems so unfair...

Anyway this evening we went to the Dog and Duck for fish and chips with Sam and Heidi and planned holiday stuff which was lovely.
