Rushing water
I thought I might post a photo from the viewpoint beyond Puck's Glen today, but though it's still a commanding spot the trees around it seem to have shot up to such an extent since I was last there that the view has, frankly, shrunk. So instead I plumped for this lovely brown burn, rushing down the upper gorge of Puck's Glen between the sodden, mossy banks.
One of these days when the grey, slightly-drizzling weather seemed utterly depressing in the town but perfectly acceptable among the hills and trees and birdsong. And then there are the endorphins from bashing uphill ...
