St Paul's Church, Filleigh

I pass this lovely little country church, built in 1732 and remodelled in the1870's, when coming back from a swim in South Molton.  It was built to be an "eye catcher" when seen from Castle Hill which is the Estate Mansion  of the Fortescue Family built in the Palladian style - a beautiful place with glorious gardens.

As you can see we have had a wonderful day - blue skies and sunshine!  Spring is really on the way.
