Fungus

It was overcast first thing this morning, but the sun soon appeared and it has been hot all day. I spent the morning and some of the afternoon sorting the cat’s bedroom, hovering the carpet and their beds. Then I sorted some winter and summer clothes, putting the winter ones further along the rail, making it easier to get at summer items. Now I expect we will get some of the snow that has just hit America.
   
I found today’s picture quite by accident when I went out to find my husband who was outside. I cannot find what kind of fungus this is, but I do not think have never seen this one before.
