The treacle tin of shame.......

......btw that bottom line of print reads 'DISPOSE OF ON EXPIRY', so it's only taken me 11 years and 3 months to open the tin and find there was actually nothing wrong with it......found it tucked behind a (circa) 40's coffee percolator (chrome plated, Bakelite handle, fabric-covered electrical cord, and amazingly still in working order!) in that kitchen cupboard I was ransacking last week when I was looking for the sandwich toaster.....

The weather being good I'm off out with my trusty secateurs to lay waste to a prickly bush in the garden, it could well be a gory 'after shot' of my scars tomorrow......
