Girl's Day

The alarm went off at 5:20am.  This is NOT Corey time!  UGH!  I woke Sugar....and then tried to wake The Hubby, but he was grumpy, and begged out of our adventures.  So Sugar and I hit the road alone at 6am.  We traveled, and traveled, and soon arrived at a BIG CITY, and our first ever (and maybe last) Cat Show!  Yes....a Cat Show.  The showing of cat breeds.  We have been learning about different cat breeds lately, and were curious to meet some of them.  It was a long drive, but we don't regret it.  So many types of cats to see.  We wished that the set up was more conducive to talking with the breeders, and actually petting the kitties.  That was a bit disappointing, but we made the best of it, and learned quite a bit.  I was too shy to ask the owners if I could take any photos, soooooo here is a photo of Sugar eating some frozen yogurt on the way home.  We had a nice lunch......and then Sugar has this treat a few hours later.  

We stopped by my parent's house for a short visit, and then headed home.  We got home exhausted, but happy to have such a wonderful day together.
