Well done

The hottest and sunniest day of the year arrived bright and early. I had a very leisurely brunch in Newmans coffee shop with Sheila and then we strolled to the farmers market and ended up outside Hacketts for a very sociable hour or two. I had to whizz home to get the suncream for us all, but in traditional Irish style, not until I'd had a little too much sun! The shoulders are definitely pink. The Aftersun was thankfully still around and not at the back of a draw with layers of dust on it (which is where it's usually to be found in Ireland)!
Watch the Fastnet Kids Triathlon with friends whose 11 yr old came 3rd in his class. Well done Isaac. The whole family and friends out to cheer him on, he was very cool and calm about it all, unlike us!! A very enjoyable afternoon and great to see much effort put in by the kids (and the parents). I had to go for a wee bike ride after all that inspiration and to make the most of the glorious evening.
