Anybody got an umbrella?

This red-wing blackbird was spotted at work this morning.. Poor thing, it was getting covered slowly with dust.. When I fill a silo with cement, the air in the silo has to go somewhere so it gets vented.. (the newer systems are vented with an air filter preventing dust and the older ones are slowly being converted) Normally that falls as a fine dry dust but when it rains it covers everything with a light mud.. unfortunately all the critters nearby too...

My boss trusted me today to take photos and scope out an area to see if we can get our trucks in an area of Seattle. Made me feel great being trusted to know that much already.. Unfortunately our overweight permit doesn't allow us on a road they want us on but if we can get access to a private parking lot (the customer would have to pay for that increasing their cost) then we could do the job.. We will see... I turn in the photos tomorrow.
